The Collection
The collection of The Sewing Machine Orphanage consists of sewing machines entrusted to our care by individuals and families who wish their histories to be preserved as well as those purchased outright.
Each machine is documented as an individual artifact. Rather than grouping machines only by brand or date, we prioritize story, use, and context.
